What is Reduced Glutathione?
Reduced Glutathione, commonly known as GSH, is a naturally occurring tripeptide comprised of three amino acids: glutamate, cysteine, and glycine. It is widely studied for its involvement in various cellular processes, including its potential antioxidant properties, detoxification mechanisms, and support for the immune system.
In its reduced state, glutathione is recognized for its capacity to neutralize reactive oxygen species, acting as a potential antioxidant. This property is explored in research for its potential role in maintaining cellular health and reducing oxidative stress.
Lyophilized peptide powders exceeding 50 mg may require a larger volume of bacteriostatic water for proper dissolution. Using too little water may leave some of the powder undissolved.
