What Is N-Acetyl-Semax Amidate Peptide?
N-Acetyl Semax, also known as N-Acetyl Semax Amidate, is a synthetic peptide derivative of the endogenous peptide fragment derived from ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone). It is a modified version of Semax that includes an acetyl group attached to the N-terminus of the peptide.
N-Acetyl Semax has been investigated for potential neuroprotective and nootropic properties in animal and limited human studies. It is proposed to influence neurotransmitter systems, including dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine in the brain, which are involved in regulating mood, cognition, and overall brain function.
