7-Keto DHEA, also known as 7-oxodehydroepiandrosteronee, is a metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). It is produced naturally in the body and is involved in various metabolic processes. 7-keto DHEA is often referred to as a “non-hormonal” or “non-androgenic” compound because it does not convert into testosterone or estrogen.
This means 7-Keto DHEA differs from DHEA in that it does not convert into sex hormones such as androgens or estrogens.
