What is RU-58841 Transdermal Liquid?
RU-58841 is a nonsteroidal anti-androgen receptor modulator that was originally formulated in the 1980s to promote hair growth, address hair loss, and enhance hair density.
The primary focus of research on this compound was to explore its potential as a treatment for androgenetic alopecia (also known as male pattern baldness). The hypothesis was that inhibiting the receptors for dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the scalp could stimulate hair follicles and encourage normal hair growth in subjects experiencing androgenetic alopecia.
