What is Adrafinil?
Adrafinil is a synthetic compound that is being investigated as a prodrug for modafinil, a medication known for its wakefulness-promoting effects. It was initially developed in the late 1970s in France and was primarily used as a potential treatment for narcolepsy, a sleep disorder characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness.
